Application Procedure:

APS Online Admission Steps:

  1. Student and Guardian must attend and Orientation/Overview session or appointment to receive the application documents
  2. Student and Guardian must complete all required admission documents by the admission deadline (November 30, 2009) Click on the links below to view the documents.
    1. Interest Inventory
    2. Online student self check
    3. Declaration of Residency
    4. Emergency Contact Card
    5. Acceptable Use Policy and Computer Use Agreement
    6. APS Registration Information (if new to APS)
  3. Student and Guardian are notified of acceptance into APS Online student makes an appointment with counselor
  4. Meeting with counselor for transcript review and completion of Individual academic plan completes the admission process.

APS Online


A student’s grade classification is determined by the number of high school credits earned.

Minimum credit for the following grade classification at Aurora Online is as follows:

  • Freshman (Grade 9) 0 – 5.50 credits
  • Sophomore (Grade 10) 6 – 11.00 credits
  • Junior (Grade 11) 12 – 16.50 credits
  • Senior (Grade 12) 17 - 22 credits

Previous high school transcripts will be evaluated to determine courses required for graduation.
